- Muncie Reclamation & Supply was founded in 1950
- Began as small reclamation shop reclaiming worn transmission and suspension parts
- Muncie's process restored parts to exact original manufacturers specifications by employing hard chrome restoration
- Industry found that these parts were superior to new parts with a substantial cost savings to the customer
- Sales personnel found additional need for new supply of parts at request of customers
- Competition needed for bus manufacturers with focus on customer service and delivery
- Moved to new 86,000 square foot warehouse in Muncie, Indiana in 1986
- Muncie Transit Supply acquired Baker Transit Parts in 1992 expanding its presence in the Canadian and North American Markets
- Changed name to Muncie Transit Supply in 1995 and changed direction to
focus solely on providing full-service aftermarket parts distribution for transit and coach industries
- Extensive product lines available for most transit vehicles in service today
- Experienced and responsive customer service staff to meet and exceed your parts needs
- Local regional sales staff to provide the necessary follow up and important face-to face contact with the customer
- In-house engineering and product development to support the sales and customer service efforts for new sources and service kit creation
